Fresh Fruit Dessert Salsa
Ingredients
- 1 pineapple
- 1 orange
- 1 lemon
- 2–3 red apples
- About 4 cups fresh strawberries
- 2–3 apricots
- 1 green chili
- 1 red chili
- 2 ears of corn
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp honey
- Fresh cilantro, to taste
How to Make the Fruit Salsa
- Dice the pineapple, apples, strawberries and apricots into small, bite-sized pieces.
- Finely chop the green and red chili.
- Remove the corn kernels from the cobs.
- Add the fruit, chili, corn and fresh cilantro to a large bowl and gently toss together.
- Squeeze the juice from the orange and lemon into a separate small bowl.
- Stir the cinnamon and honey into the citrus juice until combined.
- Pour the dressing over the fruit mixture and gently toss.
- Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving to allow the flavors to come together.
